Mission

Proscaenium Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to create an artistic home where artists and allies can gather to celebrate life, empower as one, and navigate humanity. At Proscaenium we strive to be courageous and passionate storytellers who tell culturally relevant and provocative stories. We yearn to spark imagination, activate the heart, disrupt the senses and adventure into crossing the boundaries of the mind.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge and honor that we stand in the unceded traditional land of the Munsee Lenape, the Canarsee, the Wequaesgeek and the Siwanoy. We acknowledge that we have benefited from their land and their systems and that they were forcibly and painfully removed from this land. We gratefully honor their still vibrant communities and we recognize this is only the first step back to unity and healing.
